They wanted to understand the industry, both from a demand side (the rehab needs of HNIs), and from the supply side (existing centres). A survey of over 600 respondents - with industry experts, heads of rehab centres, government officials and healthcare professionals - provided an overview of the services currently available in India and the key offerings of premium centres.

    A management consulting firm in China wanted to establish the size of India's commercial laundry equipment market and determine the investment opportunities in the sector. In-depth interviews were conducted with supply chain partners, manufacturers of laundry equipment and end-users (professional laundromat operators, hospital & hotel laundry heads and owners of laundry facilities).

    Our client wanted to establish the satisfaction levels amongst its customers in Australia, New Zealand and India. In particular, they wanted to know why some customers discontinued their relationships with them. We conducted a voice of customer study via telephone interviews with technical executives and managers from energy, industrial automation, railways and commercial vehicle companies in the region.
    Opportunity assessment for outsourcing in the domestic BFSI sector for a mutual fund transfer agency
    The client wanted to target specific customers in the BFSI sector to offer them outsourcing services. Our research covered the vendor landscape and each of these customer segments - regulations, level of outsourcing, key needs & gaps, and outsourcing trends and forecasts. Interviews with vendors, customers, and experts from across India provided a detailed mapping of vendors with customers and the services provided by them.

ValueNotes built a target list of 100,000 contacts with data such as the clinics the contact was attached to, address, contact details, area of speciality, personal contact information, etc. The database was created by mining various publicly available online databases of hospitals and doctors across all countries.

    A strategy consulting firm wanted to track the competitive landscape of breast cancer drugs globally. Information sources were trawled for details on drug approvals, research milestones, pre-clinical trials, future developments, etc. The competition's marketing strategies, launch plans and planned targets were captured. Wherever available, the perceptions and feedback of doctors and patients were included.
