ValueNotes has been invited on several occasions to either present or be a panellist at industry conferences.

 

The Special Libraries Association Apr 2014: The Special Libraries Association (SLA – a global organization for innovative information professionals) invited Varsha Chitale, Director at ValueNotes, to present at a webinar on State (and State-of-the-Art) of CI and KM in Emerging Markets – with a focus on India.
Nov 2013: ValueNotes was selected to present a paper at Interop Mumbai, India’s leading business technology conference. The session introduced participants to competitive intelligence, and the tools that can be used to increase sales both from existing customers, as well as new client acquisition.
Oct 2013: ValueNotes has been invited to present a research paper at the 2013 Asia-Pacific Outsourcing Summit in Malaysia. Top outsourcing practitioners and business leaders will discuss how corporations can sustain their hard-earned growth in an increasingly competitive environment.
Nov 2011: ValueNotes was invited by the Internet Society (ISOC) to be a panellist at the INET conferencein Bangalore. The discussion revolved around the current state of the Internet in India, and how Internet growth and different services (social media, e-commerce, mobile internet / 3G services) have impacted the country.
Jan 2011: ValueNotes moderated a panel discussion on M&As in the technology space at the Technology Investments Summit in Mumbai. The discussion revolved around the drivers for M&As, evaluating opportunities, structuring a transaction, etc
Nov 2010: ValueNotes was invited by the German Book Office in New Delhi to participate in a publishing conference. Industry experts explored the influence of the English language market on multilingual territories, and the changing digital world.
Nov 2010: The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE – Bangalore Chapter) invited ValueNotes to moderate a discussion on the opportunities and challenges in the Indian higher education segment. Panellists discussed regulatory hurdles, issues of quality output, the challenges in setting up and managing an institution, and the role of technology in the space.
Oct 2010: ValueNotes made a presentation titled Social media for CI…’Like’? at the SCIP conference in Sao Paulo. The presentation highlighted the trends and limitations of using social media for doing CI. Mar 2010: The report, ‘Examinations and the role of technology: Emerging directions’, an initiative by MeritTrac in collaboration with the EDGE forum, was launched by ValueNotes at EDGE 2010. The report looks at the issues associated with traditional paper-pencil examinations and the potential benefits of leveraging technology to deliver such exams.
