    Along with HDFC Life, ValueNotes designed and published the Life Freedom Index to assess the current state of financial freedom of urban Indians. The index was based on a nation-wide survey and the findings were distilled into various specific indices such as the Financial Awareness Index, Financial Planning Index, Financial Sufficiency Index, Financial Adequacy Index, and the Financial Liberty Index.
