July 2013: ValueNotes.com was created over a decade ago with a vision to provide independent and unbiased research and opinions on the Indian financial markets. Thirteen years on, we have done just that – built a successful brand among retail investors, HNIs, NRIs, stock brokers, technical analysts and financial advisors. Our relationship with a small trader in Anand (Gujarat), or a brokerage firm in Mumbai, or even an NRI in San Francisco, speaks volumes of our pan-India and global audience.
We started out as a website about value investing, making the choice of the domain name ValueNotes.com apt for that phase. We have since evolved to the point where we now cover every aspect of Indian finance. Keeping that in mind, we have now rechristened our website with a new name – IndiaNotes.com. The new domain provides much greater alignment with our primary objective – extensive coverage of the Indian financial markets.
“As an aggregator of financial content, our aim has always been to provide users with multiple views, there by enabling investors not only to pick the right investment options, but also to select and reach respected financial intermediaries,” says Arun Jethmalani, managing director of ValueNotes. He adds, “While our name has changed, our team, our goals, our values and our high standards of quality stay the same.”
