Indian BPO companies need to define a strategy to determine how they should position themselves. They can either take the “Factory” approach or the “Specialist” approach, depending on factors such as their financial resources, and domain and customer knowledge.
The presentation explains how BPO companies can think strategically, and why they should be doing this. It lists the pros and cons of both business models and goes on to emphasize the importance of defining size, scale and specialization in a company’s strategy.
